“There are a lot of movie reviews here that I was excited to listen to, but The Place Beyond The Pines is the first and last I will likely listen to. The two guys seem to be cool and really love movies, but they failed to go much deeper than the surface. The analysis was quite rudimentary. It also bothered me that they were not prepared to discuss the fine details of the film (basic stuff like plot specifics, the name of the filmmaker) and that so much time was wasted discussing what wasn't in the film.
