“As an Ellis show fan who was forced to cancel my siriusxm subscription I took it upon myself to seek this show out hoping to find some sort of substitute for my love of the Ellis show. Kevin was always great on the Ellis show and I was excited for this guy I have never met to be given a job there once again.
That being said, Kevin's show Mad Scientist Party Hour no longer became a substitute for the Ellis show. It became a full on replacement. And being a weekly show instead of a daily thing made it a much bigger craving for me.
Kevin has always been an excellent radio personality, and although podcast is not radio its of the same similiar theater of the mind. Shuddy is a bit of a plug, but is a vital piece to the show due to the fact he is funnny in his old man like attitude and constant need to be right about everything. Geoff is kind of like what Raw Dog was to the Ellis show. He is there but rarely has input related to what the other guys are talking about. However, Geoff does fill a need for this show and is great at it. The show as a whole is always entertaining and the guests are always great.
