Elizabeth Gilbert has such a way of cutting throught the crap and getting to the core of the matter. She is warm, kind, gentle and compassionate while giving her guests a good swift kick in the pants when it is called for. Any day that I am feeling creatively stumped, I can draw myself out of it by listening to this podcast. It is comforting to hear that I am not the only one struggling creatively, the advice that she gives is priceless, and the expert friends that she invites to contribute are filled with wisdom. As a creative, this podcast is so inspirational. Even when the guests are working in a medium far from my own, Elizabeth and her guest hosts always have such good advice that rings true no matter what you do. Whenever I am having any trouble in my creative life, I always come back to Magic Lessons.
