Unprofessionally Professional
There are no lack of Magic podcasts dedicated to the 'tournament grinders' who want updates on the latest results and decks and tech and everything that goes with playing high-level, competitive Magic. This isn't one of those. In fact, it is approximately as far as one can get away from serious discussions of serious Magic. This is a show comprised of a group of friends, who like each other, and like Magic enough to sit in a room and be goofy in front of a mic for the benefit of the world of large. They generally strive to educate players with a low amount of experience as befitting themselves, but they have the fundamentals pretty well down, and happen to succeed on that level. Looking to really go deep and improve your skill at Magic on a really intense level? ...I recommend Limited Resources. But, looking to be extremely entertained? Oh boy, do I have something for you. It's funny. It's often hilarious, because they have a tremendous amount of energy just dripping from every pore, and often divert suddenly and intensely into a side-track of incredible humour. There is never, ever a moment of stodginess in the entire show, because it's just jam-packed full of entertainment. So want to share a laugh with people who love Magic? Go for it. Really, it's great. It's just really...really not safe for kids. P.S.: My name is already a pun.Read full review »

This has become a favorite show of mine very quickly. The tone is light, the hosts are all charismatic and funny, and they talk about Magic. I don't really need more than that.Read full review »
