“I've been listening to Kai on Marketplace for as long as I can remember. He's the guy who you would want to have beers with and you could respectfully talk about any topic with him for hours.
When Molly started doing pieces on Marketplace a while back, there was an instant friendship between Kai and Molly. It was obvious that they really enjoyed working with each other.
I live in Oakland and I know that Molly lives in the Bay Area so I root her on when she does local stories or shares her experiences from living here.
I'm really looking forward to listening to Make Me Smart, which to me, was a natural next step from Kai and Molly - two of the best radio journalist personalities around right now - finding a way to bring people a podcast which is both fun and educational.
