“I used to dread my 2 hour commute to work. I wanted to be a filmmaker. When I discovered Making Movies is Hard, it changed everything for me. I started to look forward to driving into work. I didn't want to get out of the car. I learned so much about filmmaking because of Alrik and Timothy's questions to industry professionals; I felt like I was going through film school. Within a few years, I was able to quit work and pursue my dreams. I've told them before but, they are responsible for me living my dream and I just finished shooting my first feature film.
They created a facebook group to take it a step further and interact with their listeners even more where they encourage and help people in real time.
Alrik and Timothy are a wealth of knowledge, great guys and huge advocates of growth.
I even recommend the show to people who aren't filmmakers because all of the dialogue can be applied to normal life. Follow your dreams!”Read full review »
