It’d be great to get some higher-order thinking back and just like - smarter, less wildly overly personal discussion on the pod (we get it you’re a mum and you’re related! Not the only thing going on in the world except for yours!). Personal context has its place, but it’s weighted too heavily now to the mythology of its hosts to be interesting to people who are also looking for considered opinions and debate which Holly excels at in the right setting even when you don’t always agree (which is a strength of this pod when done right!!). There are so many relevant news stories now for and about women and women’s right (outside of Israel/Gaza which I think is genuine challenge to cover for many reasons) that are just totally missed and it is glaring. Producers and hosts should spend more looking at sentimental garbage and the free press for what women enjoy, want to hear and sometimes are even challenged by - that’s where this audience member has gone.”
