I used to listen regularly (from the beginning) but unsubscribed as I’m sick of the pro Israel bias, especially from Mia. Holly Wainwright is fantastic, articulate and intelligent though, hopefully she leaves starts her own podcast!

Can’t believe I once found these woman inspiring. So disappointing to see them ignore the real issues…….Gaza. To be fair holly and Jesse aren’t allowed to say what they really think. Mia I’ve come to learn is a Zionist and the whole reason she keeps avoiding talking about what’s happening in...Read full review »

They give airtime in multiple episodes to the horrible and gut wrenching Bondi tragedy (and somehow manage to make it all about themselves at the same time) but wilfully turn a blind eye to Israel committing genocide in Palestine, because it clearly suits the big boss and her biased agenda. Both...Read full review »

I mostly listen to mamamia to hear the day’s top news stories as I think the hosts do a wonderful job at recapping major events. HOWEVER, I am disappointed to hear that Friday’s episode is no longer news content driven & instead an “exciting new deep dive” aka. just another prerecorded gap...Read full review »

Holly you are so articulate and cut through the waffle.

The episode on the Bondi tragedy was absolutely disgusting this horrific tragedy has nothing to do with you stop trying to relate or make it about yourselves. Just because you live close by or have a baby too doesn’t make this about you - it’s about the victims. How appalling this was aired.
Jaymie17 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/15/24
They made the most recent episode about themselves, that they have babies and live close to Bondi junction. It enraged me, I can only imagine how much it would anger the families of the people who have passed. I don’t even know how it is possible that they could be so disrespectful. I’ve been...Read full review »

Holly, Mia and Jessie & Mamamia Out Loud. I would just like to say thank you. I am so glad that I have found your podcast. First being how Jessie and her sister think we are all as obsessed with their babies as they are. Hard reality check - we don’t care, we don’t find your stories cute or funny or endearing, we don’t want to hear you talk about them incessantly like you’re the first people to have kids. Please stop...Read full review »

Jessie is being cruel to her dog because she is an awful human. Dog outside in Sydney storms watching its paws freeze and laugh at Chili’s pain. We know this because “as a mother “ she promoted a food company on her website trying to sell lambs - lambs are babies taken violently from their...Read full review »

I love this pod and listen to every ep, but when either Holly, Mia or Jesse are away I feel as though the podcast should just be done with the two regular hosts instead of putting someone else into the mix as it doesn’t flow as well and is not as enjoyable to listen to.

Mia actively and proudly supports Israel and their brutal colonisation and ethnic cleansing! and has actually gone out of her way to use her professional and personal connections to try and bring down people speaking up about Palestine! So now Jessie loves Chilli her rescue dog less. And mentions Chillis behaviour because she was a rescue. Wasn’t Chilli a puppy when adopted by Luca for Jessie? Don’t stigmatise rescues. And Holly asks if Chilli is an outside dog now. Jessie is dropping hints that she’s going to be one of those...Read full review »

I’ve been a long time supporter and subscriber until recently. I’ve been to live shows and I’ve brought the books. Not anymore. I’ve listened to this for years now. But I’ve had enough. This ‘what women are actually talking about’ is rubbish and very narrowly conceived and reflects a very specific type of feminism and perspective. A little too coincidental that they’ve decided to reshare a CANCELLED episode on Bella Hadid who has been actively voicing her support of Palestine as a proud Palestinian woman. Absolutely DISGUSTING form.

I’m ashamed I used to listen, apparently it’s a podcast to talk about “absolutely anything” yet they don’t acknowledge or talk about anything that’s really going on in the world for women in 2024. Very problematic to be positioned as what women are talking about . I guess it holds space for the...Read full review »

Enjoy Holly’s insights - very smart and astute woman. Jessie is a good talker but doesn’t know enough about the world. I recall a recent ep when she said ‘I don’t know what a merger is’.
