First ever episode I listened to….
Hi guys, I think that this podcast is brilliant. As a female I think it’s actually amazing to listen to men discussing things that you never hear men talking about, things that maybe we think that women talk about more often, things that are more widely accepted that women can talk about with friends and stereotypically we think men don’t talk about together….. so I think it’s brilliant The first episode I listened to was with a guest called Mike Gayle- stallion thighs and there was one thing that stood out to me- he was talking about how whenever he is in a stressful situation he falls asleep….. I unfortunately suffer with narcolepsy (and I’m not trying to diagnose anything) but this is a symptom that I have to deal with called cataplexy where ( as it was basically described to me by my sleep dr) whenever my brain has to deal with a major emotional situation, good or bad my brain basically goes into overload and decides it can’t deal with this and it’s solution to dealing with it is to …… fall asleep. I’d be super interested to know if Mike ever looked into this or if this happens in other situations (the tv one is also a trigger for me) so I found this part of the episode particularly interesting. Looking forward to bingeing as many episodes as possible! Well done guys this is awesome, I love it Hannah

I was a bit worried this would be a worthy but earnest listen but in reality, it was sweet, funny and very revealing - from infertility due to crazy dieting to painting on abs! It reminded me that we all need to be kinder to ourselves. Subscribed.

The first episode made me reflect and realise things about the world and my present surroundings so many times. Jamila has so much perspective from her previous work to add to the conversation and made for an enlightening listen. You wouldn’t stop to think about some these things without listening.
