And now bereft as they’ve come to an abrupt stop (I’m listening in August 2023) - when will the “short break” end and we get to hear you both in conversation discussing manatomy? 😊

Hi guys, I think that this podcast is brilliant. As a female I think it’s actually amazing to listen to men discussing things that you never hear men talking about, things that maybe we think that women talk about more often, things that are more widely accepted that women can talk about with...Read full review »

Hello. I love this podcast. It doesn’t seem chauvinistic or toxic but informative and soooo funny. Please continue. X

This was such a funny episode, one of my favourites so far. Danny and Phil’s magic touch very evident again. Never trust a crow!

I had to give this series a 5* review for the openness of the interviewees but also the graciousness of the hosts who sometimes like to challenge a prickly subject but are thoughtful enough not to probe too deeply, staying respectful of their guests. If I was to take off a quarter or half a...Read full review »

Ive enjoyed listening to these episodes so far - what I like most is that Danny and Phil are open with their guests and are openly learning themselves. Great variety of guests and whilst some of them do go off on a tangent, but it is all eventually relevant. Thanks for finding such a good...Read full review »

These guys are raw, honest and the best men to listen to for the modern guy!

I love how honest this podcast is and how much the men (and sometimes women) interviewed open up to talk about their physical hang ups, their mental health challenges, their success and ongoing journeys with their bodies. I don’t recognise all the guests because I didn’t grow up in Britain but it...Read full review »

Loved every episode an especially the most recent with Mike bubbins, absolute legend!

It’s about bodies… but not really… it’s an insight into how men think about themselves, how men think about men, and how women think about men… and well, also about how men think that women think about men. Makes you think, doesn’t it? Great guests, great stories, great bodies and all dealt...Read full review »

Such a brilliant broad range of honest, humorous and heartfelt conversations, showing men what and how to do it. Superb hosting and interviewing skills from both hosts keep is interesting and without judgment.

The hosts of this podcast are achieving the two requirements for an excellent podcast with Manatomy, having produced a show which is both important and entertaining! Excellent guests, a sensitive but humourous style of questioning and interview, and conversations which range from belly-ache laugh...Read full review »

So entertaining, funny and informative! Iain Lee, you should be knighted for your incredible honesty and strength to tell such an amazing story for all to hear. This is exactly what we expect Manatomy to provide. It is a window into another man’s life, allowing the rest of us to come to a...Read full review »

Every single guest on this show is so utterly relaxed and open to discussing their bodies and that’s absolutely down to the wonderful nature of the hosts. I feel like I’m listening to friends opening up about body issues, confidence and hilarious tales. A lovely, intimate and informative series....Read full review »

Why on a podcast for men and about men does the first episode have Jameela Jamil on having seemingly taken out a bet with someone to see how many times she can say the word “patriarchy” or something similar knowing she won’t dare be called out. Outrageous. So apparently the patriarchy is a...Read full review »

Hearing successful men (and so far one successful woman) speak candidly about self-image, physical hang-ups and stuff, is really heartening and often very funny. Thanks for making this podcast, and to your guests for being brave enough to own up to what many of us feel about ourselves.

This podcast was a bit more serious than anticipated, yet retained a sufficient level of humour to allow its messaging to be conveyed in an enjoyable way. Celebrated listening to it with some American peanut butter/jam spread onto a Rich Tea and topped with a thin slice of marzipan. Listen and...Read full review »

What a wonderful listen. I’m loving the honest vulnerability & humour in all of the conversations so far. Can’t wait to listen to more!

The first episode made me reflect and realise things about the world and my present surroundings so many times. Jamila has so much perspective from her previous work to add to the conversation and made for an enlightening listen. You wouldn’t stop to think about some these things without listening.
Rhysbee via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/26/21
Men are rarely honest with each other in this way, so it’s refreshing to hear these conversations. Even Phil was open to talking about his experiences of heightism. A very worthwhile listen.

If this firs show is anything to go by, it’s going to be an excellent podcast - men definitely don’t talk open or honestly enough about ourselves in any way, and it’s great to have something that will hopefully start to break down that barrier. Episode one was ace, and I’m really looking forward...Read full review »

A complete joke of a first episode...... very woke, but very wrong. Surely a podcast about men and their body worries should feature MEN talking about this issue. As usual Jameela Jamil made unsubstantiated claims and made wild sweeping statements as If she talks for how all men feel and all...Read full review »

I was a bit worried this would be a worthy but earnest listen but in reality, it was sweet, funny and very revealing - from infertility due to crazy dieting to painting on abs! It reminded me that we all need to be kinder to ourselves. Subscribed.

What a wonderful, honest podcast. This needs to be shared and put out there for all to listen to, a compulsory listen for adults & parents. Thank you.

Great so far. Can’t wait for more! First body image moment that left an impression on me was via the 1987 movie, ‘Hunk’ that a 7 year old boy should never have seen.
