How to Stop Being Lukewarm?
Listen now
Description
This letter to the church at Laodicea was the harshest of the seven letters to the churches.  To be lukewarm is serious; don’t just take my word; read Revelation chapters 2 and 3.   LUKEWARM= not zealous; indifferent; as lukewarm obedience.  LUKEWARM is neutral, showing little or no interest.    All through the Word of God, there are warnings about being lukewarm.  “You say Lord Lord, but your heart is far from me.  (lukewarm)”  “But let your Yes be Yes and your No, No, For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.  (lukewarm- Matthew 5:37)” A lukewarm stage can open the door to comprise.  That is one of the reasons God says it is better to be hot or cold because anything in between unstable or riding the fence, where you might think you are safe. The process or the transformation is through the heart and the soul.   It deals with us becoming obedient, disciplined, and faithful. To stop being lukewarm. Earnestly be open to the transformation by the renewal of the mind BY making time to meditate on the Word of God, pray without creasing, watch, pray, and fast, and spend time in your chamber talking to Abba Father and assembling yourselves.
