"Do What I Say, Not What I Do!"

Description
Let your light so shine before men that they see your good work and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).  Our light needs to shine so. I remember that saying as if it was yesterday, "Do what I say, not what I do." But how is that working for you? Some people still operate in these words, but we listen more to one's actions than words. In other words, if your words do not align with your actions, they are hollow and don't impact anyone. Jesus was both and the opposite; he showed and spoke holiness, faithfulness, longsuffering, forgiveness, truth, boldness, compassion, and so on. His life was an example of everything He preached. Before we can speak the gospel, our light must shine so that others can see our life as the Kingdom of God's citizens. People often look at our lives to see if they match our words.  As our light so shines, it shows a life of faith, holiness, transparency, and truth that shows the Fruit of Spirit operating. Jesus's teaching is for billions of people, and He did not have one teaching for the many and another for a few. Listen in for more! Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the HolySpirit (Romans 15:13). AMEN AMEN AMEN.
