“First I must say that I have never set foot in Mars Hill Church; in fact I haven't been within a thousand miles of Seattle. That being said, I love this Pastor and I love his church. Rarely have I heard a pastor so passionate about bringing the name of Jesus into every sermon. Rarely have I heard a pastor so dedicated to the text of Scripture. Pastor Driscoll is entertaining, informative, culturally relevant and utterly devoted to the cause of Christ. All of the sermons are tied directly to Scripture and every sermon, whether on Ruth or the nature of Christ or even sex, point out that only Christ can deliver us from our depraved existence.
It is true that Pastor Driscoll is not the most politically correct pastor, but neither was Jesus. Pastor Driscoll always clearly states that the Church and Christianity are open to everyone, no matter their past or present circumstance, but he also points to the radical changes in our lives that are a result of a true Christian conversion. As a result, his sermons tend to offend non-believers and unrepentant Christians. I love him for his honesty, sometimes hate him for making me feel as convicted as I do when I listen to these podcasts, but I ultimately praise God for allowing me to share in fellowship with Pastor Driscoll and Mars Hill.
If you like this sermon podcast, I would also suggest the sermon audio from Matt Chandler at The Village Church, also available on iTunes podcast.”Read full review »

“He got the passion for Christ like no one else, he is an excellent communicator and honest about who Jesus is and what he accomplished on the cross.
I don't mind listen to a 60 minutes sermons if its honest and challenging.”Read full review »
