Entertaining for a while ...
Mark is a good speaker and preaches a great conservative Christian message, he's engaging and keeps a listener interested - however after a while his arrogant style and lack of a loving attitude really grates on you ... after looking forward to listening each week I've turned it off (Ortberg's Menlo park sermons are a similar simple Christian message but less offensive and although Driscoll seems to - unfairly - dislike Rob Bell of Mars Hill from Michigan, I find Bell's messages more engaging and thought provolking ... for a new believer who will not be offended Driscoll treads the straight and narrow and delivers a good message, for a firm follower Rob Bell is more challenging). ... to the commenter who didn't like him because he talks about his family and his hobbies etc, I think that's all right, contextualizing a message to this 2008 north american world helps translate the gospel message to the world we can comprehend.Read full review »

I appreciate Pastor Mark's work and his real approach to the Word and life. It's unadulterated truth, without being pious or perverse. Gods word is eternal so The truth does not fade or change which is why I listen to him though it sometimes breaks me inside so as to correct. Just the same it supports me
