Keep your opinions to yourself, and stick to Bible
Mark decided to take a tangent during his Trinity discussion to bash "The Shack" even though he clearly either A) hasn't read it or B) does not understand what the word "fiction" means. A brilliant author wrote a work of fiction to help lay people get a slight glimpse, through poetic licensing, and carefully weaves a tale of heartache, and God's redemptive love. Mark takes this work of fiction and bashes it as heresey as if the book was ever meant to be taken as deep theology. It would be like him telling me that I am a vile man for telling someone their smile shines like the sun. These sermons are so helpful - funny, insightful, biblical and yet serious too. Mark Driscoll is a seriously good communicator of Bible truths. It is refreshing to hear a young Pastor unapologetically contend for truth, but with humility and humour. God Bless Ya Mark!
