“There are 230 years of history in this country. There are many other countries in this world with very rich cultures, however, the governments of those countries have not come close to affording their citizens the freedom and liberty that American citizens have experienced for more than 200 years. Why does one suppose that is? America has some ugly history as well, what country doesn't? But why have we only had one form of government for over 200 years while other countries have had several? Mark is one of many in the media who remindings us of the reasons why. The belief that there should be a change or compromise in this society is relatively new and experimental. Conservatives are not interested in social experiments; not out of a fear of the unknown, but precisely the opposite. These things have been tried in other societies; which is precisely the reason for the different forms of governments in those socieities. Original intent is tantamount to any legal document. When a contract is formed what was intended by the framers must be applied, otherwise the contract can and will be misquoted or misinterpreted, usually for the sole purpose of pushing one's own agenda. The founders were very clear in their intent as witnessed by the many volumes of their personal writing. Conservatists only expects that the document of our Constitution be followed according to the law and its intent. Is that extreme? No, I don't think so. If we abandon the reason that we've had 230 years of liberty and freedom in this country, then by what standard should this government opperate? If government officials won't hold to our original standard (the Constitution) and create laws and policies which are in direct opposition of that standard what will hold us to the new policies? (If it ain't broke don't fix it) They have already shown that they have no respect for legal documents, so what will bind us to their policies? History shows that the only thing that can possibly bind us to policies based on ideology and opinion of those in power is the IRON FIST! Mark explains (to those who care about truth and have the ears to hear) for which duties the federal government are truly responsible according to our Constitution. Those who reject that information are only fighting to back lawlessness and anarchy. These are the true extremists!”Read full review »
