Nuff Sad... Real nuff sad.
Zap Shandor was never really popular in the 1960's - not because he was excommunicated from the magician's guild, but because he was weak. Even in the run with Dr. Strange, "The Magician's Magician" was barely seen in panel, except at the birthday party scene where the mindless ones invade the Earth realm to ruin Namor's baby party. Namor, always the over-reacting character, summons the monstrous O'Puss who both saves the party and deliciously provides cold desserts to Namor, Dr. Strange, and the other visiting Defenders & Invaders. Shandor's close-up magic is only seen poorly entertaining the kids (panel #23), and near the end (panel #55) covered in O'Puss cream from a failed blast protecting Namor's baby, "Fishy".Read full review »

I haven’t read a comic before so I’ve found this has been a great way to learn more about the characters and stories. It’s well explained and the humour is good. I’ve told anyone I speak to who tells me they like anything Marvel to listen.
