A Fine Case Study In Rehabilitation
After spending several years in prison with Ed in Romania I personally had little hope in his chances at rehabilitation, especially after what he did with that truckload of frozen lamb meat (allegedly). I’m proud to say that not only has Ed made it back to the US (through legal means, I assume) but he now has his own podcast to show for it. And it’s even actually listenable, even if the audio quality brings back memories of chatting with him through the cell walls after lights out. Seriously though, the format is a winner, right down to the pre-show sponsor ad. It’s rare a show gets a good format right off the top but Ed needn’t change a thing. Dress it up a bit with an opening theme and a show graphic (just steal the website artwork), and you’re golden. The right mix of humor, contemporary history, alcohol, music and serious long form interviews. Best of luck, Comrade, even if you can never set foot in a Tesco again, I still don’t think you really did it.

More reviews of Mass for Shut-ins
Ed has put a lot of thought into how and what to present. Wide ranging, informative, and entertaining, well worth a listen.

This is my favorite podcast. It’s interesting and informative and doesn’t blather on and on the way many podcasts tend to. Also, gin cocktail recipes!
