“You might think an audio podcast of a variety show is a silly idea, and indeed you only really glean a tantalising tease of a taster of the live show itself. But what really makes this podcast fascinating is the interview section. I really enjoyed hearing the insider tales from 3 long-term street performers, and at a decent length so that stories could 'get going' too. Hopefully a range of interesting characters are lined up for future interviews. Graham Linehan will certainly be good to hear from. Audio quality wasn't great, but that's been promised to improve for the next edition, which I eagerly await. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to one of the live shows sometime too....”Read full review »
