“I recently saw Stuart Lee talking about how, now middleaged he has no comedy material except Scooby Doo and so made jokes about Carpets and Rope Bridges. It really was unfunny.
I know his old boyfriend Herring is also a comedian, and hoped he might actually be a funny one. Do you know, I tried this and I quite liked it. Not amazing, nor Stuart Lee levels of dross, but rather amiable. There you are, I quite liked it.”
