Family Perspective
Several years ago I lheard my first true crime podcast. I quickly realize that the true crime genre was not for me because so many of the stories were guised as wanting to help but seemed exploitative and I couldn't help but wonder what the families thought or felt. One of the few that I listen to during this time was Maura's story. I found that there were things in the podcast that didn't make sense to be included or there were things that were reported that didn't seem quite right to me. I found her sister's Tik Tok page later and started following her. I don't want to say that I enjoyed the podcast because it sounds terrible to say. Someone else is pain should never be my entertainment . I did find that it was well done and I think more importantly it illustrated how out of context facts were twisted and used. I also found that many of the questions that I had were answered during this podcast and made perfect sense. I hope that you will get your answers sooner rather than later.Read full review »

The narrator is not great…very monotone lad though she is reading a bad book report.

I have followed this case for years and I am glad to finally hear from her family exactly what happened. Julie has been great on Tik Tok and I can’t wait to hear more. Hopefully this will bring on renewed interest and information and finally bring this case to an end. Maura deserves that. ❤️
