I’m going to play bits of this to my Mum if she wants understanding. I’m in the UK and waiting 5 years to be seen by the NHS Adult Autism Diagnostic Service. I can’t find someone who is trusted enough privately - and the cost, as you say. Plus, at this stage, it is just a piece of paper. Again as you say, the one advantage is for the nay sayers. I’m 51 years old.
