I have suffered from depression all of my life and have never heard anyone describe the symptoms of depression as well as Paul Gilmartin. I have heard Mr. Gilmartin guest on Never Not Funny with Jimmy Pardo for years and never would have imagined that he had dealt with this illness. Of course, one of the many curses of depression is the assumption that no one else suffers quite the same way, least of all anyone who is successful, and Paul Gilmartin is quick to reassure the listener that they are not alone. Also, since comedy has always been one of the ways I have been able to deal with my depression I am so thankful to hear talk of sometimes very painful issues tempered with brilliant comedy. Please don't censor yourself, Mr. Gilmartin, let the listeners rise to your level of comedy ;)Read full review »
