Good advice, but don’t drift off while listening
I followed Amy over from her previous, identical podcast, and every great thing I could say about the content and presentation still applies… except for since the relaunch, the breaks have no transitions at all. This is jarring, and sometimes when tired or multitasking, makes me rewind to figure out when I started listening to a commercial’s claims as fact. Exaggerated example: “…and that’s why you should go outside to get some Vitamin D. I discovered a new supplement, and you can get it for $9.99 a month…” Add music, or a verbal transition, something, please. But, since (at the end of each show) the president of YAP Media comes off as the most arrogant host on the planet, if this understated merging of content and commercial is a mandate, I’d understand.
