Started listening after hearing about them on Techmeme Ride Home. This podcast is well done, the hosts seem knowledgeable and are interesting to listen too. If you’re a dev (or adjacent) and interested in topics related to MS technologies (Vs code, C#, etc), this seems to be a great...Read full review »

James and Frank are a must listen for me every week. My team works on in-house software for an Australia wide flower delivery company. We have applications of various ages in many technologies (web, desktop, and most recently, mobile apps for couriers and florists). I really enjoy the episodes...Read full review »

I’ve been listening since the early days and the guys consistently provide great shows. The sound quality is fantastic (which is not something all tech podcasts can say) and they feel like old friends at this point! Keep up the great work.

I started listening to Frank and James when I was looking for .Net related podcasts to listen to but they also talk about so many other cool topics. This and the .net rocks podcasts are my favorite podcasts and both have great hosts with great chemistry :)

Truly an entertaining technology centered podcasts. It’s like listening to a couple of friends joke and talk about various technologies. PS. any thoughts about changing the podcast name to “we love Apple events”? lol

Easily the podcast I check first for new episodes. Frank is an Indy developer with amazing apps like iCircuit 3D and James is Mr Xamarin (a PM for Microsoft) with fingers in a lot of pies. They both record regularly and their cadence is spot on (pun intended James 😏). I do enjoy watching...Read full review »

For a good podcast you need great sound quality, interesting content, people who speak clearly and in the case where there are multiple people, they're not talking over themselves and have some chemistry that makes them fun to listen to. One of my favourite podcast about technology! Frank and James are amazing and I love the way they explain how very technical topics can be applied to real world. They bring their experience as devs as a light and easy to understand discussion. A must listen if you into dev!

I’ve been a long time listener and find practically every episode informative and applicable. To hear “community experts” experience the same issues I do helps validate what I go through. Fun and educational podcast in a conversational format. James and Frank don’t lecture down to the listener, but talk through issues and compare and contrast approaches on how they solve relevant mobile development issues. Love the cheesy 80’s intro music!

This is a great podcast if you’re doing mobile development or just have a passing interest in how that space is moving. For a development podcast I think they get the balance right between high level concepts and implementation of these, it’s difficult to get right without a screen. Personally...Read full review »

This is one of my few must-listen-now podcasts. Even with a strong focus on mobile development, the breadth of topics Frank and James cover is enough to keep me, a lowly web application developer, coming back for more every week. Keep up the great work, guys.

Look: I'm a web UI guy, doing mostly Angular/Typescript. Server tech is Java, Node or Python. Nothing I do has to do with .Net, Xamarin or iOS. Today I was re-listening to episode 8 while I was shopping for groceries. The hot tip in the section on the linker stopped me dead in my tracks and I dropped my basket — nothing broke. It seems obvious but I never thought of it. Every episode is a joy to listen to and makes me a better developer.

Two people talking stuff (most of the time). Sometimes the topic is less technical, sometimes is more. I like the combination!!

And devs in general. I enjoy the style of the show. It’s relaxed and funny but gets through a LOT of useful insights. I enjoy the way Frank and James can be super opinionated about things but in a self-deprecating way that makes it totally ok. Opinions are important, after all that’s why I listen.
