“This is a GREAT product. The problem is getting the little sucker to actually download the new word each day. You have to literally sit at the computer or iPhone and continue to click over and over either resume (in the case of the computer downloading the podcast)... or "retry (when downloading from WIFI to iPhone.) It continually stalls and takes try after try after try to get the word/podcast to appear completed on either device.
I feel this is a fair assessment and in fact would like to post a Podcast of me trying to "retry" for hours for the the transfer to complete. I realize that would not be much fun to watch, the program stalling and seeing the retry button appear disappear and reappear over and ove, but let's face it, it's not much fun doing it live either.
On average, using a T3 modem (who's using one that fast??) ... I am forced to "retry" or "resume" at least 14 times - per word!! The program itself is brilliant and for that I would give "5 stars" for sure. But for ease of use and pain in the back side? I would give it "-6 stars" if I could, so that would average out to "1 star" which is what I am giving this.
In fact, as I am typing this review, I have already clicked the retry button on my iPhone (yes, using the very fast WIFI connection through Cox) 8 times already on the same darn word and I have 13 more words to go and this one is STILL making me click the retry button. <grrrr!> I could go pull out a pocket dictionary and just find a new word in less time. So come on guys - fix this obvious flaw so people can truly enjoy your hard work.
