“I have been listening to your podcast and want to let you know how it is great to feel seen and understood. This journey isn’t easy but it is so nice to hear of others who are going through this battle alongside us on a daily basis.
This is a journey I never saw myself on and even vividly remember a family friend with MS when I was a child and I silently said in my head, ‘I don’t know what challenges I will have when I get older but I pray it is never MS.’ God laughed and first my husband was diagnosed in 2005 the year we were married and in 2021 I was diagnosed.
People think it is great that we can help eachother with understanding but it comes with its own challenges as his MS is not MS and our challenges are unique. My husband also hides his diagnosis to most and I cannot do that as it becomes too heavy of a weight to bear. So your weekly podcast helps me embrace this battle in a way I cannot at home.
