New Lives
Thank you. It’s helps to hear others reinforce that we aren’t crazy, those of us with disabilities that are visible or invisible. That our lives changed one day and will never go back again. Who are we now that we aren’t the her before? Daily I want to scream, “I’m not even supposed to be here today.” But no one gets the reference and just assumes I’m heavily medicated. Wasn’t this supposed to be the high point of our lives? Honest support is always needed. Thank you.
