Really, these right-wing cranks’ one-star reviews should be recommendation enough
Like the hosts, I grew up with these Michael Moore docs and also grew to reassess them as the ravages of late capitalism further plagued our world and turned me from liberal to leftist. If you’re thinking that you’d rather not revisit these films, you’ll change your mind once you’ve listened to just one episode, thanks to a combination of nostalgia and Luke and Will’s astute observations and acerbic wit. Having made their way through Moore’s documentaries, they’re continuing on with other films that are relevant to our current political situation, at least tangentially, and I’m so grateful for that. As bleak as much of the subject matter might seem, this podcast is really a blast, and I eagerly await each new episode. Michael Moore, I know you’re reading this. High time you prove your abiding love for Canada by taking Luke and Will up on their cordial invitation and going on the show.
