“I spent several months listening to every edition of this podcast. I stopped. Leonard Lopate is NOT a brilliant interviewer. He is, on his best day, half the interviewer Terry Gross is. He jumps around from question to question with little to no segue. He seems so impressed with himself and any knowledge he might have on whatever subject he's covering that day that I can't believe his guests don't get more frustrated with him than they seem to. That doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to this podcast--you really don't have any other good choices for this kind of interview show on podcast.
