Mighty well done
I really appreciate how Mighty Blue is handling this podcast. He's very smart to intersperse his own clever, genuine and well-written AT adventures with interviews of other hikers. The effect is equal doses of English charm and dry wit and a wide sampling of AT experiences, making for a fun listen in each of the five episodes released so far. If you are an AT hiker and missing the trail, someone who has pondered making this mighty, crazy trek, or just someone who appreciates good storytelling and fun, "Mighty Blue on the Appalachian Trail" is well worth your time (as is MB's book). I discovered this podcast after reading Steve's first book. What a treat! I listen while I train for our AT section hikes. Steve is a natural and does something rarely heard from interviewers with much more experience. He let's his guests speak! Very entertaining!Read full review »

I just listen to the Max Mishkin episode. I learned a lot about his ultralight approach to backpacking. I enjoyed his insights as well as yours concerning hiking the Appalachian Trail. Well done!
