A great show full of snakes & giggles
I've been a fan of Michael Ian Black for what seems like decades, so I was interested in hearing this. I love food, so I thought "awethome, this... might be cool". Verdict: I love it. At first I thought it would just be two guys talking back and forth while being funny and, truth be told, it is. Yet within the first podcast they are serious about their love of snacks, so that's the basis of the show: two guys talking while sharing an appreciation for snack food. As they talk, they also come around to doing reviews of said snacks. Seems basic enough, but it works beautifully. You'll hear obscure and obsolete words put into use, you'll hear Tom Cavanaugh speak in accents to show that he can either be British, German, or Tongan (truth: no Tongan references in these shows as of yet). Both of them share their knowledge of the snacks, so as they bring you in with why these foods matter to us, and whether or not certain snacks can actually be called snacks, they're also being themselves, while surprising each other at the same time. It's comedic chemistry not unlike Stiller & Meara, Spencer & Sam from "iCarly" and everyone who has ever been in Booga Booga. If you are a foodie that loves comedy, you may enjoy this, mileage may varry. If you enjoy laughing, you may be having too many "snakes & giggles" to find time to eat some chips. Yet I find this very funny, and I hope both of them will continue to do this podcast for a very long time. It would be cool to sit in the M&TES HQ and see how this magic is created while trying out soy sauce & mayonaisse Cheetos.Read full review »

More reviews of Mike and Tom Eat Snacks
Interesting, thoughtful, obnoxious discussion of everyday snacks. Really a great way to spend 45 minutes of your day.

I really don't see the humor in it. It's a critical public service.Read full review »
