A play on the stage of our minds
Mike Bennett has again, created a podcast of his novel, using personas and voices that he creates to stage a play behind our closed eyes. That is if we dare to close our eyes. Wondering who might be standing in front of us when we open them. This vampire novel has the expected horror as well as the appreciated humor while, early in the novel, we follow David and his efforts to get out of becoming the servant of the Vampire Underwood. It is his family duty, but will his sister overcome the sexist idea of the servant being male only? David can only hope so. I know that I must follow along this winding path to find out what is in David Flinch's future. Entertained again by Mike Bennett's imagination.Read full review »
