Working out my excitement!
Mike Birbiglia’s podcast, Working It Out, is so exciting to me on a number of levels. Before even listening to the trailer my appreciation for his art and list of initial guests was high. After hearing the first episode of this new project featuring Birbig’s mentor and good friend, Ira Glass, I can now say my enthusiasm is much deeper than I’d anticipated! The two deconstruct an already intriguing story, laugh together over childhood experiences, and analyze the podcast’s format in a very supportive, interesting and FUN way. You heard me...this thing is Fun! About to eat yet more Covid-inspired baking and deep dive into the rest of the episodes all weekend before I have to face the terror that is Going Back Outside. Thanks, Mike! More, more, more please. I look forward to all and any places you’ll go. Best to the Poet and the Pillowfort Constructor. 💕

Comedy nerds rejoice,...Read full review »
