“not the interviews. I generally prefer a one-person, narrative form podcast for true crime, but there are times when even banter works for me. This podcast, which I recently discovered, is one of those. However, I don't generally like interviews (there are a couple exceptions, but usually those are political podcasts and a different type of thing altogether). This podcast has sooo many interviews that are overlong, too drawn-out, and, unfortunately, boring. So I have, of course, learned to skip those episodes but there are an awful lot of them here. Also the editing can use some work - a lot of times someone will be in the middle of a sentence and it cuts to commercials and then comes back for a split second and then goes back. I'm still early on in the podcast, so maybe that improves. The other thing that is weird is that this podcast repeats episodes, and I put one on and go, wait. Haven't I heard that already? So when moving episodes to my MP3 player, I have to double-check everything to make sure I haven't heard it already. I initially gave this podcast three stars, but I went back and read some of the butthurt snowflake comments about "liberals" and the hosts' "agenda" (which is to get crimes resolved and talk about crimes), so I'm upping that to 4 stars because I appreciate the perspectives of both hosts. But please, fewer interviews. Most of them are dreadfully dull.”Read full review »
