I never knew...
I have read so many parenting books and tried so hard the last 2.5 yrs to learn "how to raise my daughter", thinking it was solely based on HER... how fascinating and eye-opening to realize it's actually more about ME. As Hunter says, you cannot give what you do not have. Hunter's podcast (and parenting class) is showing me that while I have so much to learn, I'm heading down the right path of working on MYSELF first. The best thing I can do for my daughter is learn patience, reselience, empathy, and compassion for MYSELF... and only then can I teach her. Hunter's podcasts (esp the most recent one "When my baby sprouts a beard") are weekly encouragements to keep working on my mindfulness and connection with my daugther so that she can become an emotionally intelligent, kind, grateful human being in all her relationships and interactions in life. Thank you Hunter, the few weeks I've known about you have honestly been some of the happiest times in my family, due to us applying your wonderful teachings. <3Read full review »
