Questions about the Lightphone 2
I have had the Lightphone 2 for around three months now. I’m listening to this episode on it. For me, being an IOS fanboy and a minimalist I constantly struggled with uninstalling apps,,, and later reinstalling them. Making promises I went back on. You mention the IOS colour filters. I uses them, great, plus the trick to triple press a volume button to switch back to colour. But I just heat picking the phone up for this, that or the other reason. I decided to cut the cord (I still have an iPad Pro for home use). I bought the Lightphone 2, imported to the UK. I’ve not looked back once. It’s freed up my time and my mind. Give yourself a few weeks and you’ll never look back. Myself, I’m not more conscious about other peoples use, faces to screens all day. It’s amazing how much you notice people. Just do it. From listening to all your other podcasts, we have a lot if similar interests and minimalists aims. I think I understand where you are coming from. Contact me if you want any specific opinions. I have to say, now it has the podcast app, it’s perfect. Do it........ BTW, the lightphone dashboard is really easy to use. I spent ten minutes on it on day one and have never needed to go back to it. Not I go walking in nature, with some Aftershokz headphones so I can hear the world,, as well as listen to podcasts such as this.

I wish there was a way to leverage discussion about these ideas. I struggle with finding anyone to have meaningful discussions on these...Read full review »
