I don’t even know how to explain. I’m on ep. 21. And I can FEEL the pain and fear these women are going through. I’m ready to cry. Dear heaven I don’t even know how to express how good this podcast is. And I can relate to generational pain. And there is so much beauty in their stories. Thank...Read full review »

I can’t rate this audio fiction podcast highly enough. Excellent storyline, script and acting - believable characters and such well thought out concepts. Can’t believe I didn’t stumble upon this sooner!

Starts off with a horror-mystery vibe, but settles into sci-fi mystery by the end of the first season. The story has a good balance between revealing information and leaving enough clues and questions to keep the listener invested. The plot gets complex at points but is easy to follow. Found this to be an excellent production. Strong characters with an evolving storyline from start to finish. Highly addictive such that one had to plan the next 24 hours to finish listening.

Women seeing ghosts, or something more, more than you could ever imagine? I still come back to this story, it has the best storyline and end, you need to listen to this!

Every once in a while you read or hear or watch a story that you know is going to stick with you forever. This is one of those for me. I feel like I know the characters. Really enjoyable story. And the ending is satisfactory, rather than leaving you hanging as is the way with many podcast stories. It’s about how sometimes seemingly small decisions made in a moment can change events to come monumentally ... it’s about us weaving our own destiny. Secrets guarded,...Read full review »

Thoughtful, creative, fascinating, well-acted, well-executed, and spell-binding. Started it one day and finished the day after. Sorry it's over. Beautifully characterised drama, that takes the ghost and sci-fi genres and turns them on their heads, to skilfully create an intelligent, nuanced battle between large corporations and a family separated by generations, yet connected across time. Hugely original, and highly recommended.

Mirrors is a truly unique experience. It completely ignores the same old machismo & conflict ridden tropes we find in so many SF works. Instead, we are offered a richly character driven trip into a dystopian future - one that is frighteningly plausible given our current capitalist societal...Read full review »

Update: Finished the series. Left in awe at the acting and how the story played our. This is a great story that slowly unpeels later by layer. The reveal of the women’s connection is huge. After listening to Matilda, I find myself walking around saying “Dear Richard” in a dramatic voice!

This story went exactly where I thought it would go, and also not at all where I thought it would go.
