“I live in Fairvanjs, pretty much since 1999 abd never heard this story- especially odd as I own an air charter and helicopter tour that has its HQ up here and the Helucooter tour operates up here but none of my flight crew, sll ex active military have mentioned it.
While I live a busy business life, I live my adopted hone of Alaska abd started my early buz life in the 80s on the Kenai Peninsula co-founding the states first savings and loan. I love learning more and more about the history of Alaska and greatly appreciate all the effort put into this podcast by their entire staff.
