Sound effect that will make your ears bleed
The story seems interesting and there is a good amount of background information on 9/11 BUT I couldn’t get further than a few minutes into the second episode. When recounting individuals’ movements on the day before and day of the disappearance, there is a horrid shrill noise that marks the transition between the narrator’s retelling. Occurred like 20 times in the last 5 minutes of the first episode.

Jon seems to just read straight off of a script with little emotion. Every sentence has a downward inflection at the end, and it kinda just starts to sound like his voice is droning on and on. The content is pretty good though.

why put ads in the first episode, don’t you want us to actually listen
