Alaska is not dangerous, just unforgiving of mistakes and errors
I was a student pilot and a senior in High School Oct ‘72. I had read an article about flying in icing conditions in Flying Magazine that was written by the pilot that was flying Boggs and published just a month or two before the accident. I am now about to retire after 35 years with Alaska Airlines as a B737 Captain who has flown a lot up and down the same route that Boggs went missing on. I would often look down and wondered what became of them. Great story telling, looking forward to hearing more.
