“I’ve listened to the Missing in Alaska and Missing on 9/11 podcasts as well and really enjoy the interesting cases the host covers and how well researched he is. That being said…I found the rant about crime junkies and other journalists super weird behavior. I’m not even a crime junkies listener and once he was bashing for more than a few seconds it made me feel really weird like middle school jealousy.
Also sometimes he can be a bit annoying with the writing for the show, like sometimes it sounds like he’s reading overly verbose lyrics in a Taylor Swift song. And when you get to the episode where he sings about the leads and sightings, I genuinely had to skip ahead.
Otherwise, great story and great research. I think he just needs to chill out and this would be 5 stars.”
