“Compelling story hindered by poor writing, narration, and production. Early on, the host discusses how he was a failed journalist, and it makes complete sense. He’s terrible at this. So many pointless asides, extremely annoying audio mixing and weird production choices, and a persistent tone of condescension and arrogance in the host’s dialogue. He reminds me of that kid from high school who was kind of smart but like thought he was really, really smart.”
