Why is this a podcast series?
I’m a fan of the casefile weekly episodes, so when they tell us that there was a story that was so interesting and eventful that they were on it for 4 years and couldn’t make it in a weekly instalment, you expect something. Instead, this follows the trend of the last few years: every crime story seems to deserve a podcast series these days. We can summarise this story with: nice girl goes missing without a trace, main suspect dies, “oh my god the ground was disturbed there, let’s dig!” (the suspense will kill these foolish listeners, muhaha), “oh it’s nothing and we still know absolutely zero”. Why is this a story worth told over 12 episodes? Very angry with the time wated.

How does the host not know how to pronounce Niamh’s name?! His voice and delivery is very unnatural

I enjoy casefile presents. But why the constant need to portray victims as angels? All true crime podcasts has fell into this trend. It’s always the best human beings possible that fall victim. Immersion breaking.
