Unsolved and Uninspiring
Why didn’t her family just change the spelling of her name to Neve? It was such a distraction and seemed like a very odd solution to give a child a name and then mispronounce it the rest of her life. Moving on though, the case isn’t so much unsolved as un-prosecuted. It’s not a huge mystery who did it and whilst I am very sorry for any family who suffers the loss of a loved one due to murder, these spin-off series’ tend to go on too long and indulge in a great deal of detail that adds little to the basic premise. The narrator seems overly-involved with the family and this too is a distraction from the usual excellent storytelling of the parent series.

More reviews of Missing Niamh
I couldn’t stop listening to this. Wonderfully researched and thorough and not mawkish exploitation of a horrible crime. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic series. Well put together. And a very thorough investigation! For all the idiots saying her name is pronounced wrong…. LISTEN TO THE PODCAST. He clearly states it was effectively a nickname because Aussies struggle with the spelling!!

Interesting story but the narrator is awful. Monotone, slow & weird annunciation (he seems to add the letter ‘a’ at the beginning of names & sentences) …and that’s nothing compared to the irritating way Niamh is pronounced!
