Seattle missed you, Mitch!
I couldn't be more thrilled that Mitch was given another chance to talk Seattle sports. I grew up listening to his show on KJR and while I didn't love all aspects of it (Bigger Dance in particular), I loved his energy, insight and excellent interviews. It's obvious all of that is back with this podcast. Jason is a great sidekick but he brings a lot of passion and expertise himself. Don't get me wrong, Mitch still has some room to grow (soccer is a great sport, Mitch) but my commute is much improved with his return. One side note, I'm incredibly grateful that Mitch addressed his personal situation head on in episode one. Many men (and women) use sports to get away from the pain in their lives, but acknowledging that most of us experience it all the same is refreshing. I don't expect him to routinely address his situation but I sincerely hope that episode one isn't the end of his willingness to propel a dialogue about mental health issues, especially among men that often deny them. All the best to you and your family, Mitch. Congrats and welcome home!Read full review »

Mitch had a great morning show in Seattle with unique sports takes. I remember listening to his show in 2005 in my cubicle at a finance job I hated. Helped pass the time! Only complaint is he used to talk about Syracuse basketball too much, lol.

Mitch is the best. Listened to him since I was 8 years old. Now 27. Best interviewer in sports radio.

So glad to hear you again. I must say, for old time sakes I’ll be listening sometime between 6-9am. I’ve been a fan since day 1 and you’ve been missed.
