Love the podcast
If you want to make your next road trip, more enjoyable, I highly recommend Mobituaries. I found Mo Rocco’s reexamination of the passing of overlooked celebrities, ordinary people, places and things to be fascinating. This podcast is clever, witty, and informative. Podcast suggestion: The 1862 Pittsburgh Arsenal explosion, where 78 immigrant women were killed. Their deaths were never reported bc the Civil War battle of Antietam occurred on the same day. For years only a single obelisk with the words “Consecrated Dust” stood in Allegheny Cemetery to marked their loss.

More reviews of Mobituaries with Mo Rocca
Mo Rocca is a thoughtful and engaging interviewer! He provides a sensitive look at Vaughn Meader’s popularity in the early 60s and what happened to this talent after the death of JFK. I look forward to future episodes!

Heard about it this am on CBS This Morning as Mo Rocca teased it. Bring it!

Not what I expected in the least. Thoughtful and interesting deep dive into the life of someone I’d never heard of. I don’t read biographies, but if they read like this podcast sounds, I just might be tempted. Looking forward to more episodes!
