Mobituaries is a distilled version of everything I’ve ever loved about cbs Sunday mornings, npr’s this American life, and pbs documentaries. Like a more entertaining auditory Ken burns documentary with one of the all time great hosts in news media/comedy. One must be careful listening to this...Read full review »

I started listening recently, and I AM HOOKED! Not only am I listening, but I’ve told some other people about it. Some of the episodes I can relate to (Vaughan Meader, station wagon), but more importantly I am learning so much. I enjoy Mo’s presentation. Keep ‘em coming.

Mo Rocca not only shares history stories but in Mobituaties he shares the stories of people, places, and even things that are too important to not know about. They are bits and pieces of real life, real people that have shaped life for all of us. We just didn’t know it. His stories are never...Read full review »

Obsessed! My favorite history podcast. I look forward to each episode and savor it. Mo is so respectful and kind and he shares these topics and people in such a compelling manner through that lense. I love the experts joining in and the editing is next level.

As a longtime listener and huge fan of NPR’s “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me” I was already familiar with Mo Rocca and time and again would hear his shameless plugs for his podcast. (One of my favorite features of WWDTM is its shamelessness!) and one day I finally tuned in and was instantly hooked. Mr....Read full review »

I have a history degree, so I can handle dry history podcasts. But this is the best! Mo is anything but dry and boring. I’ve learned a lot, and still laugh a ton in the process.

I agree with one of the previous comments. We want more! I’ve written tributes to staff who have died at my former workplace. There is so much more to a life that ‘Born, married, kids, career, died. I have to admit, I was skeptical before the first listen. I read the obits in WaPo, I find them interesting, but I was thinking who wants to hear a series of obits about people who have passed on. It’s a shame that perhaps no one offered Mr. Meader the chance to channel Pres. Kennedy in a spiritual way…they seemed to have this connection. Perhaps Jack was there to escort him through the gates of Heaven. Thank you and your team for sharing this incredible story.
