Hello to Mo
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of co-hosting my radio show, Ask Andrea, with Mo Rocca. At the time, he was a correspondent from Jon Stuart’s TV show and had just written a book called Presidential Pets. He was a delightful co-host and I have followed him on both radio and television ever since. When I saw his story on Sunday Morning about Vaughn Meader, I wanted to hear his new podcast on the same subject. The audio is quite fascinating but also a little bit sad. In my album collection, I have a copy of First Family and every once in awhile I will listen to it. It stirs up the same emotions of humor and sadness. Thanks, Mo, for reminding us of a simpler time when we all were a bit more innocent. You always seem to be able to get to the heart of a story. Good job.

Mo has done it again with an quirky take on the purpose and reasons for obituaries. The story of Van Meader and the tie to bigger issues of fame and the Kennedy assassination along with the pain of self destruction is interesting amusing and sad in other words human. PatiIowa
