‘White-passing’ Guy with Decent History of Medieval Muslims
M. Ghilan’s better off making commentary about Canadian/Saudi or even Australian as he is not an American Muslim. American Muslims have more right to criticize Sh. Hamza or Rep. Ilhan, than a non-US Muslim who’s popular in social media universe. In this episode, he sounds like a typical colonized Muslim who performed ‘white passing’. His leaning toward ‘blind obedience’ to human beings, not the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or God Almighty, made listeners would fall on a slippery slope toward not speaking up for truth and stand up for justice. He seems like the insidious Dr. Zuhdi Jasser - a ‘native informant’ in Islamophobia industry business. But, Ghilan is in the defends Mauritian Muslim school of thought just because him/his teacher learned Islam from Mauritanian Muslims. Ghilan might help in creating Muslim community, similar to Catholicism where pedophiles from religious class is in untouchable — a “third world” class of religious leadership dynamic in a “first world” countries— especially if the actor is a white person. His opinion and idea imay that not squarely compatible in a democratic country, (e.g., vocal in freedom of press, voting for a systematic changes in society, correcting the religious elite class via criticism), such as the USA.
